Take a look at the new Teamviewer for enterprise remote connectivity, whether you’re a managed services provider (MSP) or a reseller focused on empowering customer organisations.
The new TeamViewer Tensor boasts features that enable users to get started faster, including improved onboarding and connection processes.
Then there’s TeamViewer’s LabTech integration – allowing connection to a target computer right from the Computer Management screen. At the same time, users and their organisations remain protected via two-factor authentication (2FA) and supporter identification, with stronger authorisation than ever.
Thirdly, TeamViewer is now easier to use thanks to a design refresh and unified access and online support for connecting to any PC or server, anywhere in the world, in seconds.
After all, the need to empower distributed teams working across varied and heterogeneous environments isn’t going anywhere soon, with virtual private networks (VPNs) not the only option for securing remote connectivity.
Whitepaper results suggest channel opportunity
A recent TeamViewer poll of IT decision makers found that, when it comes to remote working currently, most (82%) could still be relying on VPN.
Sixty-six percent of the 125 quizzed said they use Single Sign On (SSO), and 46% revealed reliance on virtual desktop environments. Thirty percent told the surveyors they used collaboration suites; 16% digital workspaces.
Six percent of respondents actually still used an even clunkier, more outdated approach — working with applications and data locally, then transferring the data later on.
The survey results were written up in this whitepaper from TeamViewer.
Of course, with TeamViewer, your partner organisation benefits from Dark Mode for Windows, Linux, and Mac, reinforcing a focus on the essentials of security and connectivity at the same time as enhancing availability of company systems and processes — even when bandwidth is poor.
Features include TeamViewer Pilot for problem solving with augmented reality (AR), and optimisation for macOS with the latest Mojave technologies. There’s a new iOS screen-sharing workflow as well, ramping up the solution for iOS Remote Support.
One-click script execution is available in the business plan, but for customers that choose the premium option, they’ll enjoy custom device information and advanced device groupings to allow even faster access to devices.
