Highsoft is located in Vik i Sogn, Norway, a beautiful small town, surrounded by the splendor of mountains and fjords.

The best selling product, Highcharts, started out as a humble quest for a simple charting tool for updating a homepage with snow depth measurements from Vikjafjellet, a mountain in Norway. Frustrated with the common flash plug-ins, and other proprietary solutions at the time, the founder of Highsoft decided to build a standards-based solution of his own, and share it with the world.

Since its launch in 2009, Highcharts has remained the premier and fastest growing charting-tool in a competitive market.

The mission is easy: Make it easy for everyone to visualize data on the web.
